Carytown Bicycle Co. Plans to Open Short Pump Store, its Third in Area - Richmond Times-Dispatch

Locally owned Carytown Bicycle Co. will open a third area store in the GreenGate mixed-use development in the Short Pump area of western Henrico County, the developer and bicycle company announced Thursday. GreenGate, a 70-acre planned development that will include 200,000 square feet of commercial and office space and 230 town homes and single-family homes, is being constructed about a quarter-mile west of Short Pump Town Center.

A new-to-Richmond gym brand plans to open in a massive Short Pump mixed-use development that’s already signed on some big-name tenants. CycleBar, a franchise stationary cycling studio, is in the works for GreenGate, a 75-acre mixed-use project Markel | Eagle Partners is building west of Short Pump Town Center.

Another Restaurant Planned for GreenGate Development Near Short Pump - Richmond Times-Dispatch

The Richmond Restaurant Group now plans to have two of its restaurant concepts in the GreenGate development in western Henrico County. The company plans to take its East Coast Provisions seafood brand that opened earlier this year in Carytown and open a similar version called West Coast Provisions focusing on offerings sourced from the West Coast. It will join the company’s second The Daily Kitchen & Bar that’s in the works for the mixed-use development planned on West Broad Street, west of Gayton Road, about one-quarter mile west of Short Pump Town Center.
