The Homebuilding Association of Richmond (HBAR) has announced the 2016 Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence (MAME) Award winners. The ceremony was held on Thursday, March 2, at the Jefferson Hotel and honors the best of the best in the new home construction and remodeling industry. Eagle Construction took home 14 honors between company and individual awards, including the coveted Marketing Excellence by a Builder award and Sales Manager of the Year.

Best Print Advertisement (Community) – GreenGate Advertisement in Richmond Magazine        

The concept behind the print ad was to capture the culture of GreenGate through lifestyle imagery and images of our product. The print ad included GreenGate specific branded messaging with catchy taglines and the body copy celebrated the local culture and emotion of what GreenGate represents as a community. The call to action of the print ad drove the viewer to learn more about the community through a custom URL. Featured in Richmond Magazine’s 2017 Newcomer’s Guide.

Eagle Vision is a virtual reality home tour of one of Eagle’s new floor plans, the Westmoreland – the model home at GreenGate. The app takes advantage of the popular virtual reality technology, allowing users to view 360 degrees of every room in the house. www.eaglevirtualreality.com

The Marketing Excellence by a Builder award was chosen based on achievement in the following categories: Corporate Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Sales/Promotions, and Special Events.

Amy Wilcox was chosen as Sales Manager of the Year after only being in the position for two and a half years. She was able to increase sales 42% in 2016, outsold her goal, and successfully managed 14 communities in the Richmond and Hampton Roads area. Amy opened up 6 new communities in 2016, launched presale programs in 3 of those, and sold out 2 more communities. With her creative and aggressive approach to sales, she has proved to be a valuable asset to Eagle and we are thrilled she was honored for her achievements at the MAME awards.
