Take A Tour
Tim-bor:
Wood preservative that works as an insecticide and fungicide.
Tankless Water Heater:
The compact design of Rinnai® tankless water heater allows flexible installations located closer to fixtures and appliances. This reduces the wasted water while "waiting" for the heated water to arrive.
Engineered Lumber and Trusses:
Wood I Beam™ joists and
GP Lam® LVL have been Green Approved by the NAHB Research Center. Wood I Beam joists resist shrinking and twisting, and they deliver high dimensional stability with consistent depth, stiffness and strength characteristics.
Low - E Windows:
These windows are coated with a nearly invisible metal or metallic oxide layer that helps suppress the transfer or radiative heat flow, keeping the outdoor climate where it belongs - outside!
Spray Foam Insulation:
This is used to seal all seams and openings in the homes frame. It’s also sprayed on the walls to create a "flash coating". Next the fiberglass batts are layered on top of the closed-cell foam barrier, completing the insulation system.
Blower Door Tested:
A blower door test is a diagnostic tool using a variable speed fan to measure how tightly sealed a house is and locate air leakage sites. All of our E3 homes are blower tested.
Sealed Air Ducts:
All ductwork is sealed with mastic tape. Leaky ductwork often accounts for 10 to 30 percent of total heating and cooling costs, wasting hundreds of dollars each year.
Programmable Thermostat:
This provides timing and temperature controls, saving you money on your energy bill.
